In a most provocative Open Mic essay, guest blogger Judy Pollack, the managing editor of our sibling publication, Advertising Age, and who is someone who has loved "American Idol" for years, writes a memo to the producers about what’s wrong with the show. 1. There is no need to write an article about what’s wrong with Idol.
The answer is – Having 4 judges. It has been all downhill since they added Kara last season and then Ellen this season. The 4 judge format just doesn’t work and drags out the boredom.

  2. NB is correct.
Especially since every other show has chosen to copy the complete AI format.

  3. Drop Ellen, Kara and add Elton John.
Do NOT add any talk show host or some actor.
    The show is about Music

  4. NB is correct

  5. Absolute rubbish that Lee won.
    The worst season ever.

  6. Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

  7. Incredibly helpful info here. BTW, I believe I read a quite similar article on another blog these days, truly i’m pretty sure. I ‘ll check it out and let you know, maybe they copied your content, who knows.

  8. I love the expression. Everyone needs to express there own opinion and feel free to hear others. Keep it up 🙂
