NBC is keeping a tight lid on the storyline of its new-for-fall Monday night drama, "The Event" — the latest entry in the "Lost" wannabe category.
According to NBC sources, because of the number of plot reveals contained in the first episode, the network will not make available DVD preview screeners of the new series.
Rather than let the DVDs get out into circulation, NBC will instead be holding screenings of "The Event" for critics and advertisers.
