CNN’s primetime ratings woes have been well documented. Now comes word that the network is talking to one of the popular judges on "America’s Got Talent"–Piers Morgan, about a primetime slot, reports the New York Post’s Page Six.
Morgan, besides also being a judge on "Britain’s Got Talent," is the former editor of British tabloids News of the World and the Daily Mirror, the Post notes, adding that Morgan is talking with CNN about a potential panel show which would either air during the 8 p.m. slot vacated by Campbell Brown or Larry King’s time period at 9 p.m.
The report comes after the New York Post reported in April that Morgan was in discussions with NBC to host an interview show. The most recent Post article doesn’t mention if Morgan is still discussing a show with NBC.
