There may be more "Sex & the City," but don’t look for it to continue star the four ladies from the TV show, reports E! Online.
A prequel is under discussion, but instead of using stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis, the plot of the prequel would call for the casting of younger actresses, the report says. (In fact, the characters played by Cattrall, David and Nixon are not likely to be in it, since the plot takes place before the Sarah Jessica Parker character meets them, the articla says.)
And the project would be another film, not a TV show. The article says that the film would be based on Candace Bushnell’s latest book about young Carrie Bradshaw called "The Carrie Dairies."
