Daytime Emmys Top Last Year’s Ratings

Sunday wasn’t a stellar night for Nielsen ratings, but the 37th Annual Daytime Emmys did better on CBS than it did a year ago on cable the CW, according to TVbytheNumbers.com.

At 7 p.m., ABC’s "America’s Funniest Home Videos" narrowly beat the competition with a 1.0 in the 18-49 demographic. NBC’s "Dateline" had a 0.95 in the demo, better than CBS’s "60 Minutes" with a 0.9 and Fox’s "Sons of Tucson" with a 0.5 for half of the hour. At 8 p.m., "Dateline" received a 1.2 in the demo, up against all reruns.

At 9 p.m. the Emmy broadcast began with a 1.2 in the 18-49 demo for the first hour. ABC’s "Scoundrels" collected a 1.15 for the hour in the same demo.

At 10 p.m. the Emmys slumped to a 0.95 in the demo, while ABC’s "The Gates" garnered a 1.05.

  1. Last year’s show was not on cable. It aired on the CW after almost not finding a home.

  2. Hi there, In which was this website when I started out blogging 4 years ago?! Seriously this weblog would have reduced the volume of study I had to perform as I went about my blogging existence. It would probably also have assisted me to make a acceptable earnings sooner as well.
