Beloved by millions who were stunned when it ceased publication in October 2009, Gourmet magazine has been reborn in digital form as an iPad app, reports The New York Times.

According to the article, Chuck Townsend, chief executive of Conde Nast, explained the relaunch, saying, “It’s not a magazine and it’s not a digital version of a magazine. It’s a whole new way to engage with consumers.”

Gourmet Magazine is now called Gourmet Live, and publisher Conde Nast is enthusiastic about the brand still being a potent marketing tool.

  3. You should put a link up to ylour twitter, so we can follow ….

  4. I stumbled on this article on Google although I was trying to find something similar, but I just wanted to say excellent stuff and I utterly agree. Is there any method to subscribe to fresh content?

  5. Love this blog.

  6. Nice blog here! Also your website loads up fast! What host are you using? I wish my website loaded up as fast as yours lol

  7. I concur that Meridith and the New York Public Library are the very best of 2009. My Small Pony, not so much. On the other hand, th is was a strong roundup of greatest and worst, though.
