Millions Are Gonna Like This: Gourmet Magazine is Coming Back–But in a New Form

Jun 22, 2010  •  Post A Comment

Beloved by millions who were stunned when it ceased publication in October 2009, Gourmet magazine has been reborn in digital form as an iPad app, reports The New York Times.

According to the article, Chuck Townsend, chief executive of Conde Nast, explained the relaunch, saying, “It’s not a magazine and it’s not a digital version of a magazine. It’s a whole new way to engage with consumers.”

Gourmet Magazine is now called Gourmet Live, and publisher Conde Nast is enthusiastic about the brand still being a potent marketing tool.
