Acme, which owns six television stations, has restructured its management as it looks to sell the business, reports B&C.
Among the changes are a new chief executive, with President Doug Gealy taking on the new role. Current Chief Executive Jamie Kellner will continue on in his chairman role, the report says. Acme will also "significantly" cut its corporate staff and, although the article didn’t specify how many jobs will be lost, it’s expected to save the company $600,000 a year. The move comes after Acme had announced plans for a shared-services agreement with LIN Media.
