Oscar Winner Wants to Do Reality TV Show About Ping-Pong

An Oscar-winning actress has her sights set on a reality television show focused on table tennis, People magazine reports.

The actress is Susan Sarandon, who is an investor in SPiN — a popular ping-pong nightclub in Manhattan. She told the magazine that she wants to do a show set in the establishment.

She assured the publication that the show would not be like "Jersey Shore" or anything of that ilk. The ping-pong competition will be an important focus, especially since some participants who work out at SpiN are headed to the Olympics.

“It’s more of an episodic documentary. We’re trying to invent something you haven’t seen before that follows a bunch of people in this crazy little subculture,” she told People.
