Product Integration Punches Its Way Into ‘Kimmel’ Intro

Volkswagen cars have started to make appearances during the intro for "Jimmy Kimmel Live," as the talk show continues to dabble with product integration, Ad Week reports. 

Through about June 20th Kimmel’s opening has him walking through the streets of Los Angeles will feature a Volkswagen car and someone punching series regular Guillermo Rodriguez in the arm. The punch is in reference to VW’s new ad campaign that involves a childhood game of a punch in the arm when a VW Bug is seen. 

"Kimmel" has been no stranger to creative or offbeat ad offerings, including specifically shot YouTube ads that air before clips or live commercials.
