The top spot of Forbes magazine’s annual list of the most powerful celebrities has changed hands, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
Oprah Winfrey has returned to the top of the list, bumping Angelina Jolie, who held the No. 1 spot last year.
Winfrey earned $315 million from June 1, 2009, through June 1, 2010, according to the list, which combines earnings with measures of celebrity, such as how many times a person is mentioned on TV, to figure out his or her ranking, the story says.
Because of the buzz measure, singer Beyonce Knowles placed second on the list, although her earnings, $87 million, were far below Winfrey’s, the story says. Jolie, by the way, slipped to No. 18 on the list with earnings of $20 million.
