Syfy has named a new marketing executive, the network has announced.
Sara Morgan Moscowitz is now the Vice President, Strategic Marketing for Syfy. She will report to Blake Callaway, Syfy’s Senior Vice President, Markteting, Brand, Strategic, who made the announcement of Moscowitz’ hiring.
"Based in Syfy’s New York office, Moscowitz will oversee all multi-platform advertising partnerships, trade marketing and create innovative revenue-driving sales opportunities," the announcement said.
In a statement, Callaway said, “Sara’s wide range of media agency, network, and ad sales marketing positions has touched every aspect of the industry. Her creative insights and considerable experience will contribute significantly to forging strong advertising partnerships built upon the power and passion of the Syfy brand.”
Moscowitz comes to Syfy from a marketing post at Premiere Radio Networks. Prior to that she was Director of Marketing for the Discovery Channel. She also has agency experience, having worked at, among other agencies, Carat U.S.A.
