One of TLC’s most successful programs is getting a spinoff. The cable channel confirmed Thursday that the star of "Cake Boss," Buddy Valastro, will host an eight-episode competition show to find another superior baker.
The show will recruit the 10 best bakers it can find to compete in a series of challenges–all related to baking–with the big winner earning an apprenticeship in Carlo’s Bakery. That’s the setting of TLC’s "Cake Boss," Buddy’s domain.
