Despite previously canceling this series two months ago, HBO has reversed its decision and placed a 10-episode order for a third season, reports Deadline.com’s Nellie Andreeva.

The series, the MRC/Good Humor TV-produced animated comedy "The Life & Times of Tim," is a cult favorite and is popular with comedy writers, the article says.

Started in 2007 as a pilot at Fox, the series was moved to HBO with a 10-episode order. The second season ran in a block with the MRC-produced animated series "The Ricky Gervais Show," which has also been renewed, the story adds.
