A defamation lawsuit against ABC News and former correspondent John Stossel may go forward, according to a ruling from a federal appeals court, reports TVNewser.com

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals reinstated the lawsuit filed by television evangelist Dr. Frederick Price, the story says. The court found that Price may be able to prove that his words were taken out of context for a 2007 report on "20/20" about politicians, religious leaders and businessmen who appeared to be living lives of excess, the article says. According to Reuters, the case will return to the trial court for more proceedings.
