Dell has unveiled its first U.S. smartphone, and it sells for about $100, Reuters reports.

It’s a 3.5-inch Android-based device called the Aero, for use on on AT&T’s network, the story says.

The device puts Dell in competition with market leader Apple and with other phones using Google’s Android operating system.

The computer maker said its smartphone will sell for $99.99 with a 2-year contract from AT&T, or $299.99 without the contract, the story says.
