DirecTV is reaching out to football fans who want to watch NFL games on their computers, smart phones, and other PDA’s such as the iPad, reports the New York Post.
The company will charge $350 for its Sunday Ticket To Go package for viewers to watch games via their computers and cell phones, the story says. DirecTV is expanding the service nationally after testing it in Manhattan last year.
The catch is that if you want only this service you have to prove that you can’t get DirecTV–for example, because you live in an apartment and the owner won’t allow DirecTV in the building. If you do get DirecTV, once you subscribe to Sunday Ticket you can get the "To Go" portion of the service for an extra $50, the article says.
The service will start with streamed games on Sept. 12.
