A former Paramount Film Group president is developing two series projects for HBO reports Nelllie Andreeva at Deadline.com.

John Lesher is developing "The Three Weissmanns of Westport," based on a novel by Cathleen Schine, and which will be adapted by "Rachel Getting Married" writer Jenny Lumet (who is the daughter of filmmaker Sidney Lumet), the story says.

Jenny Lumet will also serve as an executive producer with Lesher and Adam Kassan, while author Schine and Janet Meyers will co-produce.

The second project from Lester is "Keys to the City," based on a book of the same name by Joel Kostman, who wrote 14 stories based on his work as a professional locksmith in New York City. Oscar winner William Monahan, who wrote "The Departed," is adapting the book and will also serve as an executive producer with Lesher, the story says.
