Former HLN Anchor Joins MSNBC

Former HLN anchor Richard Lui, who departed CNN on July 22, is joining MSNBC.

Lui will be based in the MSNBC offices in New York City and will take over an anchor spot beginning Aug. 30.

In a statement, Phil Griffin, MSNBC president, said of Lui, “I’ve been watching Richard for years and he’s a strong reporter and a passionate storyteller. He’ll be a great addition to our talented team.”
