Fox Television Studios executive Emiliano Calemzuk is leaving Rupert Murdoch’s fold to join Murdoch’s daughter’s television business, reports the Los Angeles Times’ Company Town blog.
He’s joining Elisabeth Murdoch’s Reveille as the production company’s chief executive, the story says. At Fox Television Studios, which produces shows such as USA’s "Burn Notice," Calemzuk turned around the unit from a money-loser into generating about $20 million in profit last year, the story says.
Reveille, the U.S. arm of her Shine Group production company, is responsible for such hits as NBC’s ‘The Office" and "The Biggest Loser." He’ll report directly to Elisabeth Murdoch, the story says. No replacement has been tapped for him at Fox Television Studios, although one candidate will likely be Dave Madden, an executive vice president at the unit, the article adds.
