NBC Universal has signed NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios Chairman Marc Graboff to a new three-year contract, reports Nellie Andreeva at Deadline.com.

Despite being approached for jobs outside of NBC, Graboff decided to remain at the network, where he’s worked since 2000, the story says. Negotiations between NBCU and Graboff went on for several months, the article adds.

"Graboff, who is very well respected in the industry, had brought stability to NBC during several regime changes over the past decade, and his business presence and institutional knowledge would certainly help make the transition to post-Comcast merger NBC smoother," Andreeva writes.
