"Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy confirmed Tuesday morning on the Ryan Seacrest radio show that there will be a Britney Spears episode in the upcoming new season, according to a link to the broadcast on TV Tattle.

Murphy told Seacrest, "Britney, I think 100% is going to be on the episode, which is exciting."

Murphy suggested that he could be playing John Stamos’ dental assistant.

"The Britney episode, I’m here to say, is so reverential about her and so kind, and it’s about her music and it’s not about her personal life. … I think she’s been through a lot, and I want to do something that just sort of says, you know what, ‘Thank you for what you have done.’"

  1. That might be the point that I skip “Glee”. Britney Spears? Are you freaking kidding me?

  2. You may not like her personally, but you can’t deny that she has had a lot of hits and is still important to a lot of young viewers who remember her heyday. I think this episode will be fun and a ratins success.

  3. I have to agree with the Digital Guy. She’s not my cup of tea, but her influence on pop culture cannot be denied. (Having said that…I’ll probably skip that episode as well 😉

  4. I only want to say that your site doesn’t validate for CSS 3..
