Singer Jewel will perform an acoustic version of the previously unreleased song "The Shape of You" during the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The song, which will be available on iTunes, is about the loss of a friend.
The Emmys broadcast is set to air live on NBC from the Nokia Theatre in L.A. on Aug. 29 at 5 p.m. PT.
