Nancy Dolman, an actress who had a recurring role on the primetime television series "Soap" and was married to actor Martin Short, has died at age 58, reports People.com.
There were no details about time, location or cause, the story says.
However, at E! Online, reporter Natalie Finn, who formerly worked here at TVWeek, writes that Dolman "had been battling cancer since 2007."
On Saturday morning, the Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call for medical help at the pair’s home in Pacific Palisades, the People article adds. Short and Dolman had been married for 30 years and have three children, who are in their 20s. They met in 1972 during a Toronto production of the musical "Godspell," and Dolman retired from acting in 1985 to raise their family, according to People.
