More Talk of a Feature Version of Canceled Sci-Fi Series: This Time It’s One of the Stars Saying There Has to Be a Movie

A once-hot sci-fi series that was canceled earlier this year has been the subject of speculation among the show’s rabid fan base about a possible feature film version, and now another important voice has been added to the chorus, reports DigitalSpy.com.

The voice belongs to Greg Grunberg, who played Matt Parkman on NBC’s “Heroes.” Grunberg is gung-ho about the prospect of a "Heroes" feature film, the story reports.

"I think there has to be [a movie],’ the actor is quoted as saying. “But I also predicted they wouldn’t just out and out cancel it, so what do I know?"

Grunberg goes on to make a case for a movie, saying, "It makes business sense to do something–there’s a huge fan base that wants some sort of conclusion, and I think the actors want to do it. It’s not about making a fortune to come back–we all appreciate the fans so much, I think if the call went out, we’d all be on board."

The show’s creator, Tim Kring, has said he intends to keep “Heroes” alive in some form, the story notes.
