Spike TV has ordered eight half-hour episodes of the trash-to-treasure show "Auction Hunters," reports Multichannel News.

The unscripted show will track public auction prospectors who bid on unclaimed storage units, of which the network says there are 10,000 per day being sold, the story says.

The show will feature historic or unusual items, such as a vintage slot machine, the article adds, and will debut in November.

As previously reported, Spike had ordered two scripted pilots as possible candidates for series this coming season, but passed on both of them.
