Tribune Stations To Air More Classic TV Shows

The Tribune stations will air more classic TV shows.

Beginning Jan. 2, 2011, Tribune will start airing Antenna TV as part of its digital multicast, Tribune Broadcasting announced on Monday, Aug. 30, 2010.

Antenna TV will also be made available by Tribune to non-company TV stations.

"Antenna TV will offer a combination of movies and classic television shows including: ‘Three’s Company,’ ‘All in the Family,’  ‘Sanford and Son,’  ‘Benny Hill,’  ‘Maude,’  ‘The Nanny’ and ‘Married with Children.’ Classic television series will air overnight, including: ‘Dennis the Menace,’ ‘The Donna Reed Show’ and ‘The Three Stooges,’ " the announcement said.

In a statement, Sean Compton, President of Programming for Tribune Broadcasting, added, "’Earlier this year Tribune expanded its relationship with MGM to launch THIS TV, a digital channel of classic movies, in additional markets."

"Sanford and Son," Three’s Company," and "The Nanny" also can be seen on cable’s "TVLand."

"The Nanny" is also on cable’s "Nick@Nite" as well.
