TV Critics Awards Honors ‘Glee,’ Named Program of the Year

The Television Critics Association’s annual TCA Awards on Saturday night, July 31, 2010, gave top honors to Fox’s comedy "Glee," reports the Hollywood Reporter.

The show was named both program of the year and outstanding new program, while actor Jane Lynch was taped for individual achievement in comedy, the story says.

Aside from "Glee," two additional freshman shows were given honors: "Modern Family" on ABC won outstanding achievement in comedy, while Julianna Margulies won the individual achievement in drama prize in "The Good WIfe," the story says.
