ABC News is beginning the process of looking at internal candidates to replace outgoing President David Westin, reports Marisa Guthrie at B&C

Disney-ABC Television Group president Anne Sweeney visited ABC News headquarters last week in New York, when she met with a few ABC News executives, including James Goldston and Jim Murphy, executive producers at ‘Nightline’ and ‘Good Morning America,’ respectively, the story notes. She also met with Kate O’Brian, senior vice president of news coverage, and had had an earlier meeting with "World News with Diane Sawyer" executive producer Jon Banner, the article notes.

"There has been no shortage of speculation in media circles as well as inside ABC News, about who will take over the news division, which this year endured a wrenching 25% staff reduction," Guthrie writes.

  1. Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
