A medical drama from "Rescue Me" producers Denis Leary and Jim Serpico and a series concept based on the Twitter feed Dear Girls Above Me have been picked up in script deals by CBS, reports James Hibberd in The Hollywood Reporter

Dear Girls Above Me is a Twitter feed written by a man who’s annoyed by ditsy roommates living in a condo above him, with each tweet prefaced by "Dear Girls Above Me," the story says. Sample tweets include " ‘He said he was Spanish but not a Mexican. What the hell, that doesn’t even make sense!’ It does to the entire country of Spain," the story says.

The medical drama project focuses on three doctors who attended medical school together and return to work at the university hospital. Elle Johnson, who is writing the script, is also executive producing with Leary and Serpico at CBS TV Studios, the story notes. "Dear Girls" is from Ashton Kutcher’s Katalyst Prods., with Kutcher, Jason Goldberg and David Schiff as executive producers.
