Fox Television Stations and Twentieth Television announced today that they have signed a deal that will give the Fox stations broadcast syndication rights to Twentieth’s multiple Emmy-winning series "Modern Family."

ABC’s “Modern Family,” the No. 1 sitcom in the 18-49 demo, was sold to Fox stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Houston, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Baltimore.

The announcement was made by Paul Franklin, EVP, General Sales Manager, Broadcast, for Twentieth Television, and Frank Cicha, Senior VP of Programming, Fox TV Stations.

“As we approach the 2013 syndication premiere of ‘Modern Family’ on the Fox Television Stations, we are confident that viewer devotion to this hilarious and poignant portrayal of the modern American family will only continue to elevate and garner more success,” Franklin said in a statement.

Cicha added: “On the heels of ‘Big Bang Theory’ and ‘Dr. Oz,’ the acquisition of ‘Modern Family’ ensures the continuing flow of A-level hit product to the Fox Stations.”
