California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has reunited with mega-successful filmmaker James Cameron ("Avatar," "Titanic") once again.
Cameron originally directed Schwarzenegger in two "Terminator" movies.
This time Cameron directed Schwarzene in a 60-second TV ad urging California voters to give the thumbs down to Proposition 23 in the Nov. 2 election, Reuters reports.
The proposition would suspend the climate change statute that Schwarzenegger has enthusiastically supported.
The commercail primarily features Cameron, with Schwarzenegger getting a brief cameo. In the ad, Cameron says, "Tell your friends, family, cyborgs and avatars to vote ‘no’ on 23, before it’s too late.” When the camera goes to a wide shot, Schwarzenegger is sitting next to the director and says, "Why do you keep calling me the cyborg?"
Here’s the spot:
now why you keep calling me…
(pause, forgot line for a second)
