The loss of ailing actor Andy Whitfield has stymied production of Starz’ "Spartacus," and now the CEO of Starz, Chris Albrecht, who has been hopeful about a new season next year after the prequel airs, has hedged his bets a bit, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Albrecht said that in 2011, if it’s not "Spartacus," "We’ll have something else in the fourth quarter."
Actors have been sought to replace Whitfield, who has been unable to resume his work on the show because of a relapse of his cancer.
Albrecht said Friday that Starz is still considering “all options” regarding the future of the show, including casting a new lead, the article says.
Albrecht is also touting upcoming originals “Camelot” and “Torchwood,” the story points out.
that is a very interesting series and if Whitfield, spartacus keep acting in this series that would be very good if it impossible for him Boss Hints could be also ok but don’t stop it because we are watting for next sesons of spartacus
