Time Traveler Cell Phone User in 1928 Movie Footage the Talk of the Internet (One Joke: Looks Like AT&T Had a Better Cell Signal Then)

It’s become the talk of the Internet. Here’s what CNET’s Chris Matyszczyk has written about it:

"You won’t believe your eyes…I would like you to examine a YouTube video that has been sent to me by various readers and eminences. It has already been viewed by more than 1.6 million people. And it shows Irish film director George Clarke declaring that he has seen an old woman–or a man in drag–in the 1928 Charlie Chaplin movie ‘The Circus.’

"Why might this be remarkable? I am sure even Chaplin himself might have donned a skirt at least at some point in his life. Ah, but this skirted individual, with a hardened Edward G. Robinson-type face, appears to be talking on a cell phone."

  1. That footage is either :
    1) real
    2) a recreation to restore the original film, in which some extra had his/her phone out when the take(s) were done or,
    3) a fake to create some sort of buzz or to generate sales for the collection.
I have other postulates for this film but something looks deliberately out of place.

  2. Dreamin. I love blogging. You all express your feelings the right way, because they are your feeling, focus on your blog it is great.

  3. I love the expression. Everyone needs to express there own opinion and feel free to hear others. Keep it up 🙂

  5. I think, what is it ?error. I can prove.

  6. I am final, I am sorry, but, in my opinion, there is other way of the decision of a question.
