‘Today’s’ Third Hour Tops ‘Regis & Kelly’ for First Time

For the first time ever, the third hour of NBC’s "The Today Show," which teams Al Roker, Ann Curry and Natalie Morales, has come out ahead of the syndicated talk show "Live With Regis & Kelly" in the Nielsen ratings, according to The New York Post.

"Regis & Kelly" goes head to head with "Today’s" third hour in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, San Francisco and other major markets. “Today” averaged 3.348 million viewers nationally for the hour during the 2009-2010 season to 3.248 million for “Regis & Kelly,” according to Nielsen figures.
