While it seems hard to imagine Rick Sanchez being welcomed back to CNN after last week’s brouhaha, at least one person sees it as a possibility–the boss, Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

While appearing Wednesday on Fox News’ “Your World With Neil Cavuto,” Bewkes said: "He did a lot of good work on CNN, and anything is possible. I wish him well. I think that he is a talented guy and he will have a lot of interest in different channels and, who knows, maybe someday the right place for him is at one of ours."

Bewkes added that if Sanchez were to return to CNN, it shouldn’t happen in the foreseeable future. "I am sure he would like to try something new," said Bewkes.

  1. Considering the fact that Parker-Spitzer’s ratings are actually WORSE than Sanchez’s were, it’s not surprising they’d welcome him back.
