VH1 Teams With Queen Latifah for Net’s First Foray Into Hour-Long Scripted Show

For the first time in the network’s history, VH1 is taking a stab at creating an hour-long scripted series. The show it has in the works is called "Single Ladies," and Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Entertainment is producing it.

"Single Ladies" began as a movie that was shot this past summer, a dramedy that explores what women want in a relationship. Actresses Stacey Dash, LisaRaye McCoy and Charity Shea play Val, Keisha and April, three best friends who have very different philosophies about love, sex and relationships.

Actor DB Woodside also stars in the film.

"Single Ladies," the series, begins production later this year. Both the TV movie and the show will premiere in July 2011.

  1. Not much of reader but your article kept me interested enough to finish

  2. I am not in reality sure if top tactics have emerged about things like that, but I am certain that your large work is clearly discovered. I was questioning if you offer any registration to your RSS feeds because I would be very concerned.
