Since Minnesota Vikings quarterback Bret Favre has drawn the scrutiny of NFL security for his alleged inappropriate text messages to New York Jets employee Jenn Sterger, Wrangler has decreased the rotation of the company’s jeans commercials starring Favre, CNBC reports.

Front Row Analytics, a sponsorship evaluation firm, reported that this past weekend during the NFL broadcasts, the Favre Wrangler ad was not run at all. Wrangler did air the ad ten times on Sunday, but on cable networks Versus, FX, Speed and History Channel.

The previous weekend, after word of the text messages had already surfaced, the Favre spots were in full rotation, the story reports. At that time Wrangler’s official stance was that it was monitoring the situation.
