Clues have been surfacing about the changes that will take place at NBC Universal as a result of the Comcast acquisition, and the latest word concerns the fate of Telemundo.

NBCU’s Lauren Zalaznick, who currently oversees the Bravo and Oxygen cable channels, will be tapped to take over the Spanish-language network, reports the Los Angeles Times‘ Company Town blog.

Her new role is one part of the new management structure tht is expected to be put into place by Comcast Chief Operating Officer Steve Burke, who will become chief executive of NBCU after the cable company takes control of the media outfit, the story says.

Burke is expected to reveal his organization plan this week. The article says Burke’s plan could include remaking Telemundo as the Bravo of Spanish-language TV.
