Pierce Brosnan is working on a deal, with Sony Pictures TV, that would see him return to series television, reports our good friend James Hibberd on his Live Feed blog on the website of The Hollywood Reporter.
According to Hibberd’s article, "The former "Remington Steele" and James Bond star is set to appear and produce a new series about an international operative and problem solver for hire."
While he’d be in the show, Brosnan is not expected to play the main character, the story says.
The article adds, "Executive producers on the project include ‘ER’ writer-producer Jack Orman, along with Beau St. Clair, Keri Selig and Brosnan."
Sony is gauging interest in international markets before trying to sell the series domestically, the story says.
