Walt Disney Studios is bringing together its television sales unit with DVDs and digital, reports the Los Angeles Times’ Company Town blog.

Janice Marinelli, who previously was in charge of TV distribution of TV shows and movies, will add the DVDs and Internet to to her responsibilities, the story says. She’ll report to Bob Chapek, president of distribution for the studio, and Ben Pyne, president of global distribution for Disney Media Networks, the story says.

Lori MacPherson, meanwhile, is moving from her role as general manager in charge of DVDs under Chapek to a bigger, strategic job in home entertainment with the title of head of global product management, the story notes.

Jason Brenek is taking on a similar role to Marinelli’s, although outside the U.S. and Canada, as head of international in-home sales, and will report only to Chapek, the article says. He was previously the senior vice president in charge of digital cinema for the studio.
