TLC Sees Ratings Records Broken by ‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska’

"Sarah Palin’s Alaska" broke TLC’s ratings records, with the debut drawing 5 million viewers, reports THR’s Live Feed blog.

That made the first episode, aired on Sunday night, the most watched program debut in TLC’s history, the story notes.

TLC, however, a has drawn bigger audiences for non-premiere episodes, such as "Jon & Kate Plus Eight" attracting 10 million viewers for one episode during the peak of the show’s tabloid frenzy, the article notes.
