"Mad Men," one of the most acclaimed cable shows in recent years, is coming back for another season, the Huffington Post reports. Joel Stillerman, AMC’s senior vice president of original programming, made the announcement Friday at the Television Critics Association press tour that the show will return for a fifth season, according to the story.

"’Mad Men’ is definitely coming back for season five, but don’t ask me when, because we’re not sure yet," Stillerman said.

The announcement spares fans of the well-loved show the suspense that preceded season four, when extended contract talks between the network and show creator Matthew Weiner kept the fate of “Mad Men” in limbo.

"Mad Men" has been racking up awards, including the Emmy for outstanding drama series for three years running.
