Chelsea Handler’s bestselling book "Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea" has been given a pilot order from NBC, reports EW.com’s InsideTV blog.

Handler will executive produce the multicamera comedy, along with Tom Werner, Mike Clements and Tom Brunelle. The story focuses on a group of 20-somethings who live and work together with an outspoken woman. Handler won’t appear on the show, the story says.

NBC also ordered three other comedy pilots, the story adds: an untitled Whitney Cummings project about a young couple; "Brave New World," a workplace comedy set in a historical theme park; and "My Life as an Experiment," a single-camera comedy about a magazine writer who jumps into unusual situations for his stories, the article notes.
