As we reported last week, Joan Rivers will no longer be a fixture on the red carpet, but the comic has decided to continue her TV career as the star of her own reality show, reports iVillage.com.

Collaborating with her daughter Melissa Rivers, Joan Rivers will appear on a new WE Network show called "Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?" The premise for the show is not only Joan Rivers’ busy career, but also the the elder Rivers’ move into her daughter’s home.

Joan Rivers is aiming for a higher-quality reality TV product than "Jersey Shore," and promises that it will be "shamelessly entertaining."
