Two original scripted series were picked up by USA Network, reports B&C.
"A Legal Mind" tracks a Manhattan corporate lawyer and a college dropout who becomes his new recruit, while "Necessary Roughness" is based on a true story and focuses on a single mom who gets a job as a therapist with a professional football team, the story notes.
Each series will debut with a 90-minute episode, followed by 11 one-hour episodes, it adds.
"A Legal Mind" is from Universal Cable Productions and is executive produced by Doug Liman and David Bartis, while "Necessary Roughness" is a co-production of Sony Pictures Television and Universal Cable productions and has been created by Liz Krueger and Craig Shapiro.
