After Attacks, Anderson Cooper Decides to Leave Egypt ‘With a Heavy Heart’

CNN anchor Anderson Cooper Anderson Cooper has decided to leave Egypt, noting on his Twitter page that he made the decision with "a heavy heart," reports EW.com’s Inside TV blog.

"CNN continues to have many teams in place. It was a hard decision to leave," he wrote. Cooper is leaving after being attacked in Egypt. As we previously reported, Cooper and his crew were attacked in Cairo by supporters of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.
