CBS Picks Up J.J. Abrams Pilot

CBS has given a pilot order to a new show from J.J. Abrams, the creator behind “Lost,” “Alias,” “Felicity” and other shows, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The new project is the crime drama "Person of Interest," written by "The Dark Knight" co-writer Jonah Nolan and produced by Warner Bros. TV and Abrams’ Bad Robot, the story notes.

The show focuses on a scientist and an ex-CIA hitman who pair up to prevent crimes before they occur, the story says. Abrams and Nolan are producing with Bad Robot’s Bryan Burk, the story notes.
