Golden-Voiced Homeless Man Looking for Work Again, Explains What Happened With Dr. Phil and Rehab

Ted Williams, the homeless man with the golden voice whose life was resurrected thanks to a YouTube video, is out of rehab and looking for voiceover work, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In an appearance on the CBS "Early Show," Williams talked about his recent experience in rehab, saying he left the facility because Dr. Phil had rushed him into the program.

"It was too much, too fast, and I was just not really focused on what I should be doing," he said. "I felt scripted. I was doing live phone-ins [to TV shows] from rehab."

Williams said he is sober now and living in California–in what is described as a sober house–and he says he’s ready for work.

  1. Yeah Ted. It is Dr. Phil’s fault. Blame him.
