After losing its perch at History Channel, the miniseries "The Kennedys" has found a home, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The project has been acquired by ReelzChannel, the story reports. The miniseries, executive produced by "24’s" Joel Surnow and starring Greg Kinnear and Katie Holmes, will air April 3.
Reportedly, Reelz paid a hefty sum for the eight-part series, upwards of $30 million. ReelzChannel currently reaches 60 million households.
In a statement, ReelzChannel CEO Stan Hubbard said, “We think it will drive ratings and put a spotlight on this network that has never been on it before. We’re going to do a full-blown marketing campaign.”
